GasSafeNow ("we", "us", "the platform") connects customers ("Clients") with Gas Safe registered engineers ("Engineers") in the United Kingdom. By using the platform you agree to these terms.
GasSafeNow operates as a marketplace via a Telegram bot and this website. We facilitate bookings between Clients and independent Engineers. We are not the supplier of gas services; the contract for the work is between the Client and the Engineer.
Every Engineer must hold a valid Gas Safe registration. We verify registration numbers against the official Gas Safe Register at gassaferegister.co.uk. Engineers warrant that their registration is current and that they hold appropriate public liability insurance.
Standard services are priced upfront on the platform. Variable services (e.g. repairs) carry an indicative price range, with the final amount agreed on site by the Engineer. All payments are processed via Stripe; we do not store card details. Funds are released to the Engineer after job completion confirmation.
Clients may cancel free of charge before the Engineer is dispatched. Once an Engineer is en route, a £15 cancellation fee may apply. Refunds for completed work are handled through our dispute process (option 5 in the bot menu).
Any complaint about work quality must be raised within 7 days via the bot's Dispute menu. We will mediate in good faith but final responsibility for the work rests with the Engineer.
GasSafeNow is not liable for the work performed by Engineers. Our maximum liability is limited to the platform fee paid in respect of the disputed booking. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Engineers are independent contractors. They are responsible for their own taxes, insurance and compliance with Gas Safe regulations. Engineers must not advertise services outside their registered scope.
Users must not misuse the platform: no fraudulent bookings, no impersonation, no harassment. We may suspend or remove any user violating these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
